is there a solution to connect USB-C to Firewire 800?

ThunderBolt-3 to ThunderBolt-2 adapter, then ThunderBolt-2 to Firewire-800 adapter.
You generally can not stack display adapters, but some others, like this one can be stacked.
USB-C is the name of the connector, only. Macs generally are implementing Thunderbolt-3, and using a USB-C connector to do so.
