Calls on Land-line About My iCloud Acct

I am having no problems with my devices, but I keep getting these calls from 'Apple Inc' and 'Apple Care' saying that my iCloud account has been compromised. The phone numbers they are calling on are: 800-275-2273, 813-393-4720, 972-942-7210, and 865-824-2507. I haven't answered these calls until today and I wanted to know what they would say. It is an actual person, with an India accent, wanting me to log on to my Apple account and give him information. They say someone in Hamburg, Germany is logging on to my account. I told him that the Apple Company would not be calling me and they hung up on me. I guess this is just FYI but I am correct in saying that Apple would NOT be calling me, right?

You are correct; Apple doesn't make calls like that. Also, the numbers shown on scam calls are usually spoofed and not the number originating the call.
