I would like to get this done before the new Catalina comes out in fall. How do you do a recovery drive USB for the new MacBook Pro 15? And what size of USB would be the best for the USB?

FYI, If you want to store the current downloaded installer for future use, then make sure to archive the installer into a .dmg archive file or macOS will overwrite the old installer with the newer installer regardless of where you move the old installer. Apple destroyed one of my old OSX installers when I tried downloading the current macOS installer. I only discovered this when the new installer wasn't found in the Applications folder. A Spotlight search found my "old" OSX installer which was located in another folder and it now had a current modification date and was now a macOS Mojave installer.
