Unable to connect to mobile network

My wife's iPhone 8 Plus has suddenly stopped connecting to mobile network. We have tried all the suggested fixes but nothing works. It is not a SIM or carrier issue as we have transferred the SIM to another device and it works just fine. It connects to all other wireless networks just not mobile.
