Apple Card Invite

  • I am a retiree, with a FICO score of 797. After being invited to apply for the card today, I responded through my iPhone to all of the questions, only to be rejected by Goldman Sachs for this reason "Your debt is too high relative to your income - examples may include loan or credit card balances". I immediately checked my credit report with Experian, only showing a total debt of $60K, no credit card balances (American Express Platnum & American Express Gold). Question, what kind of annual income must one have to qualify for the Apple Card?
