Update Payment Information Notification Won't Go away

I have the red notification to update my payment information on my iPhone and iPad but every time I sign in to my account I get this error "We've run into a problem. Please try again later." I've tried numerous times on both devices and get the same error.


All my payment information is correct and all my subscriptions and app purchases go through just fine.


I just can't get rid of the notification.

contact iTunes Support. Either use the form or scroll to the bottom of the page in the 2nd link. Follow through the screens to get a chat or telephone option.  You may need to pick a problem that is slightly different than yours to get a chat option.

Thank you but I've tried on the wifi at home and work and regular data and still the same issue. I've also tried restarting and a forced restart. Nothing works. It doesn't cause any issues with my payments I just don't like seeing the notification. I don't want to turn it off because I don't want to miss an important notification in the settings.
