iPad Air cannot determine location

My four-plus year old iPad Air has suddenly, inexplicably lost the ability to locate itself. One week ago I returned to my home in MD following two weeks in Maine, where I had used both the Maps app and NOAA Radar Pro without issue. Every attempt to use those apps now shows the location in Maine, and when I attempt to use the "centering" icon, the same error message pops up.."Location could not be determined"

My iPad is WiFi only. It is connected to my home WiFi now, and has suffered no physical damage whatsoever. Date and Time settings are of course accurate. Location services is enabled, both in general and in particular for each of the affected apps. I have toggled these settings off and on several times already.

I have performed a reset of the device settings, the battery is fully charged.

What else is there to try?
