roll over auto drop down bookmarks bar

Is there any way to make the bookmarks bar in Safari behave like it does in Firefox or Chrome? I like how I can mouse over the favorite folders and they auto open as I pass over each one.

Opening favourites in a separate tab with just one click and not losing the current page In my favorites bar (below the URL in safari) I would like it so that when I click one of them, it opens in a new tab default (rather then the current page). How do I accomplish this, is there a workaround? I dont want to have to press cmd every time.

Safari won't/can't do that.
