I dropped my ipad,and only half the screen is viewable.
it also says “invalid sim”on upper left of the screen

Clearly the drop damaged your iPad. Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for options. If you have AppleCare+ and it is valid, a replacement iPad will cost $49. If you don't have a valid AppleCare+ plan, Apple doesn't repair broken devices, so they will most likely offer you an out of warranty replacement at 60% of the cost of the iPad when it was new.
