Apple battery widget.

I just purchased a new IPad 7.9 and can’t locate the Apple battery widget in either installed or uninstalled lists in the widget page after swiping right. There are a number of other items but no battery status widget. I also have an iPhone 7 and have no trouble with displaying the battery widget. The iPad software version is 12.4. Thanks for the help in advance.

Reboot your iPad and see if that helps: Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time (keep holding past the swipe to power off) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go.

While not an Apple article, this article offers suggestions for a missing battery widget: https://www.igeeksblog.com/battery-widget-missing-on-iphone/
