i have a mac 2011 but i have updated it to 10.10.5 but i can't download Microsoft word which is 10.12

have do i download Microsoft word on my mac 2011 for free or do i need to get a new one?

Word has never been free! You have not advise what version of Office for Mac you have once you find that out see if it is supported by Microsoft using 10.10.5
