USB Accessories Disabled, Battery Draining Rapidly

I am getting an error on my MacBook Pro each time when it wakes, stating that USB accessories are disabled, unplug the accessories drawing too much power. There are no USB devices plugged in. Also, the battery drains insanely fast when lid is closed. I have tried resetting the SMC countless times but to no avail. Please help me out.

Hey, chetan015.

I see that you're having a problem when your MacBook Pro wakes from sleep. You see a message that your USB devices are using too much power, but you don't have any plugged in. The battery also drains quickly when the lid is closed, and resetting the SMC hasn't fixed it. I believe it's time to contact Apple Support for this.

Apple - Support - Product Selection — After selecting this link, choose Startup or Power > Battery life shorter than expected. Then choose how you'd like to start the conversation.

Take care.
