Favourites Mix - driving me crazy

Love Apple Music but lately my favourites mix is driving me crazy. For months now, I have been doing the Siri thing ‘I don’t like that song’ whenever one comes on in any playlist that I don’t like. Siri responds that she will remember that - then when the next favourites mix is updated - the song or artist or both that I have disliked is almost always there. It almost feels like I am being taunted by Siri.

I have removed every song, album or reference to that artist from my library- disliked every song of theirs whenever it plays - and when Tuesday comes around - I’m pretty sure it will be there in my favourites again.

anyone found a fix for this? I’ve been hoping it would get better over time, but if anything, I think it is getting worse.....

Hello femitchell,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! I understand Apple Music plays songs that you tell Siri you don't like. I'm happy to assist you with this. Try signing out of Apple Music, restart your device and sign back in to see if it will start recognizing your preferences. keep in mind, you will have to download all of your music again after signing out.

Follow the steps below to sign out.

Tap Settings > iTunes & App Store.

Tap your Apple ID. If you see the option to Sign In, you can change your AppleID now.

Tap Sign Out.

Best Regards.
