i have just got a new iPhone 7 Plus off my auntie, the problem is that the new phone is locked to an o2 SIM card but my SIM card is EE, can I unlock the SIM card myself or do I need to take it to a phone shop, thanks

You need to contact the previous carrier (o2) and ask them to unlock that iphone, if you are eligible.
