Rebooting IPhone 8plus

I know they changed the reboot process for the iPhone 8.

  1. quickly press volume up button
  2. quickly press volume down button
  3. press and hold the side power button


What’s supposed to happen is the apple logo comes up and then the phone reboots. When I do it, my phone just shows the regular slide to power off button. Anybody else have this problem? Any solutions?

You need to keep holding the Side button, after you see "slide to power off", until you see the Apple Logo.

Then you can release the Side button (not before).
