iCloud breach a scam?

Currently getting robo calls about iCloud breach of iPhone users. Is current wave of calls a scam?

Yes, it's one of many types of scams happening millions of times a day.


Apple will not call you out of the blue. Hang up on criminals.


As a side note, I got a call from Texas (that's all it said on the Caller ID) about five minutes ago. After picking up, it immediately started a recorded message, "This is Social Security. We're cal…". I hung up.
