Just got my iPad Pro 11” and an accompanying Apple Pencil. I have procreate and first tried to use it in there but my pencil skips when I try to draw in the app. In safari, when using my pencil, it continuously clicks and zooms in on the page. I added a photo to show what it does in the procreate app.

Yes to all of the above. I literally opened the pencil straight from the box a few hours ago. The ‘glitching’ is not confined just to procreate. It occurs no matter the app. In Safari, it randomly zooms the page as you scroll, if held down the page/link acts like it is being tapped and retapped by the pencil.
Have you Bluetooth paired the Apple Pencil?
Have you screwed on the tip of the Apple Pencil securely?
Have you made sure to set up the Apple Pencil inside of the Procreate app?
