I do not know who I got this phone from i'm just trying to get past the icloud username and password so I can use my new phone my friend bought it and gave it to me and she bought it off a friend and im stuck

That iPhone is in Activation Lock and the only one who can fix the situation is whoever is holding the Activation Lock. If it isn't the friend your friend bought it from then you will have to have them find who it is. If you cannot you will not be able to use that iPhone, recycle it responsibly.
