How do I back up the rest of my old phone content to my new phone? Only about half transferred over

Did you restore a backup of your old phone to the new phone? Try making another backup of the old phone and restore that to see if more will transfer.

Have you signed into Settings/Your Name/iCloud using the same ID used on the old phone and turned on syncing for the desired data?
