has anyone had issues with the screen going dim when in use, i can be watching a YouTube video and the screen will darker slightly, i can still see the mouse moving and then within a few seconds, its goes black, i can still hear the video in the background, if i shut the lid a re open its fine for another 30mins or so then does it all over again

Dimming before going black sounds like the machine is going to sleep. How do yo have the System/Energy Saver set, particularly the "Turn display off after:" setting.

so these are the power settings, its on mains power, does this mean it turns the screen off after an hour regardless?
