Got a new iPhone. Once everything was transferred to my new phone, I deleted all of my notes from the old phone. Now they are gone

I got a new iPhone and once they transferred all of my info to the new phone, I deleted my notes on the old phone. I did that after I made sure it was on my new phone. Now the notes are gone. How to I retrieve from the icloud

On both phones, check the Notes app for a Recently Deleted folder. Also check at iCloud.com/Notes using a computer browser for a Recently Deleted folder.
