Apple Pencil Not Working

I just bought the Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) today. It pairs fine with the iPad Pro and is charged to 100%, but it doesn't work when I try drawing in Notes or even for general use. How should I troubleshoot this?

Apple Pencil 2 not working Hi just brought Apple Pencil 2 for my new iPad Pro .. did work the first day.. but today , despite being fully charged and showing connected on the iPad.. pencil is not working can’t see anything on the pencil on double tap as well.. can someone help. thanks ash

Apple Pencil is not working My Apple Pencil is not working even after I have charged it.it is not functioning even after double tap to test it.the iPad I’m using is iPad Air 4th gen.just bought it few months back.bought it in February 2021.hope to hear from you soon.thank you.
