Magic Mouse 2 Compatibility With Windows 10

Hi everyone, I wanted to make this post to help people make their Magic Mouse 2 compatible with Windows 10 without buying that cash grab Magic Utilities.

Basically you just need to install an updated driver.

http://swcdn.apple.com/content/downloads/58/20/091-07726/qcih6x2vuivj7rnva3zm5lgmig7fuu45n8/BootCampESD.pkg

This link is for the .pkg file that contains the drivers.

Once this file is downloaded you'll obviously need to open the contents, however it is a .pkg file meaning you'll need 7-zip installed to access the contents.

Install and launch 7-zip then locate the .pkg file and access it's contents.

.

Open up 'Payload'

Keep opening up the nested files to you reach 'Bootcamp'

Open this up, then open up 'Drivers'

Then open up 'Apple'

And then run the AppleWirelessMouse64

.

This updated driver will add scrolling functionality back.

Hope this helps :)

Have a nice day!
