• Which Mac model and sub-model you have.
• What Mac OS versio it is running.

I could not find information about a Pixma 3012 through Canon web sites, only via (for example) Amazon.in. The G3012 seems to be related to Pixma G3010. Unfortunately, no Mac drivers appear to be available from Canon for the G3010. So, it looks like direct/official support is limited to Windows (and possibly Linux and some mobile phone operating systems).

Also, under an old discussion how to install canon pixma G3010 on mac a… - Apple Community , others have suggested workarounds. These may or may not be of interest in connection with the Pixma G3012.
