My 2011 Imac is frozen on the password home page
My iMac doesn’t start. It is stuck on the blurred homepage where we usually put our password. The loading also took way longer, frozen at the 3/4 of the bar.

Attempt to reset the NVRAM per the directions in https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063 and if that does not work, please restart in Safe Mode per directions in https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262 . If both fail, then your internal drive is likely in trouble.
You can attempt to restart in the Recovery Partition (Command + R on startup), open Disk Utility and then run First Aid 3-4 times on the internal drive, if any errors appear that only confirms my hunch but you should really take the computer to your local AASP to have it professionally diagnosed at that point.
