Redownloading apps

How do I redo load an app without it stopping and glitching out? I have downloaded a bunch of apps a while ago. I deleted them because I didn’t care much for them. I need them back now, however whenever I press the cloud to download the app, it keeps stopping. It doesn’t even try to download. May someone please help?
