How do I recover the Passcode to enter an iPhone 5?

Hello the room...

I was robbed of my iPhone Xs. Before I replace it, momentarily I want to use my first iPhone which is a 5. But is asking me the Passcode which, after so long, I don't remember. Each time I try—and fail—gets blocked for a longer period of time.

Is there a procedure to recover the code?

Or to change it?

I would be very appreciative if anyone can help me on this issue.
