iPad does not support video input. In order to use an iPad as an external display for another device you will need to find a compatible capture device that works with iPad. To my knowledge there are non at this time.

You would best be better served by contacting Pansonic, via their own Website/online support and/or email contact support or actual phone support about Apple iPad support for live monitor usage.

They will have a better idea of this use than any average user would have here.
