I'd liked to be sure I can upgrade RAM and storage at a later time after purchase.
I thought I could do it on my late 12 MacBook Pro but it happens parts are glued together so there is no official support on this question.
How can I find out information about this? I know I can personalise when I purchase but what if I want to do it later? Is it possible?

From the spec:
Mac mini (2018) does not have user-installable RAM. You can configure the memory in your Mac mini (2018) when you purchase it. To upgrade the memory in your Mac mini (2018), go to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
From the purchase configuration assistant:
Mac mini storage is not user accessible. If you think you may need more storage capacity in the future, consider upgrading at the time of purchase.
In short, you can’t expand internal storage after purchase but you can expand RAM through Apple although it’s considerably more expensive.
