i bought the EarPods headphone plug for my grandaughter and her puppy got ahold of them and chewed them. i have the warranty from staples, but does not kick in tell next june as i still have your warrenty. can i get them replaced

A warranty covers manufacturer's defects, not user damage. You'll need to buy a new pair of headphones.

I just want to be sure. Did you get her AirPods or EarPods? The latter comes with iOS devices. The former must be bought separately or as an additional purchase.


Regardless, they would be covered under Apple's One Year Limited Warranty for basically only factory defects, not damage caused by users ... or their pets. However, you may have a "sympathetic ear" from an Apple Store employee that may help you out.
