If you're asking about the performance difference between 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM, it is highly unlikely that you'd notice at all. The 6 GB of RAM in the 1 TB (storage) model is for extreme use-cases, like 4K video editing or Photoshop for iPad Pro (is it even out yet?)

What specifically do you need to know about the performance differences between the RAM amounts that you need assistance with? Typically, it would only allow you to have more apps installed and running at any particular point in time.

It never hurts to have more storage, if you'll use it. If you just purchased it and you don't think you need that much storage, and you are within your 14 day return period, you can return it for full refund and buy the 512gb iPad if that's enough storage for your needs.
