My Apple Watch only shows a black screen and the apple symbol. Over and over. I put it on charge and don’t get a charging screen. Please help!

I have personally had this issue before on both my Apple Watch and my iPhone, where the Apple start up screen gets stuck on a loop, after a while my watch just powered on. I left it on charge for about half an hour and when I came back it was resolved. If you leave it on charge for a little while it might kick out of it, although I don’t know if it just kicked out anyway or if the charge helped it. Hope the issue resolves itself
Be very careful of that advice. Same thing has happened to me. Apple support wants to charge me £200 to fix it. I can only presume that you’re not meant to update your device if it is out of warranty.
