I have an App that is telling me I need to update by browser. How do I go about updating Safari on my IPad? The instructions is stating that Safari update is no longer available.
When you update iOS on your device, Safari is updated automatically, so you cannot update Safari by itself.
What model iPad do you have and what is its current iOS level.
Whatever website you went to which caused that message wouldn't have anything to do with iPadOS 13. But since you are current with 12.4.1, your Safari is as up to date as it can get. I am confused by you saying you have an App which suggested you need to update your browser. What app are you referring to?
I did see above the following “Announcement: Get ready for iOS 13 and iPadOSBrand new features for your iPhone and iPad are coming soon”. So could be I just need to wait for the new IOS 13.
I use the Chase Bank App. I deleted the app I have and went to Goggle and opened an new Chase Bank. It asked if I wanted to open in Safari and I indicated yes and I’m now able to log in. Not sure what occurred with the old app, but all is well. I sure appreciate your time and assistance. I learned something which is always good. I’m really know nothing about IPads or Computers. Do you use the Chase Bank App or are you using Safari to access online banking? I use the Chase Bank App all the time, on my iPad Pro 11, with iOS 12.4.1 and don't have notification to update my browser.
I have the IPad Pro 12.9in and the current IOS is 12.4.1

You have a great evening as well. The Chase Bank App works well and honestly, in my opinion is safer than doing banking on a mobile Safari browser.
