Late 2011 MacBook Pro - 3 beeps, replaced RAM, still get 3 beeps

My late 2011 MB Pro started making the 3 beeps sound. I purchased brand new RAM, just installed it, and it still beeps the 3 times. I tried resetting SMC and tried resetting NVRAM/PRAM. None of this work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Patriot ? Never heard of it...

Best to buy RAM from reliable source with the exact specs.

Usually a lifetime guarantee on RAM from third party source like:

http://www.crucial.com/usa/en

There are other possible issues:

Try re-seating the RAM: MacBook Pro: How to remove or install memory

you are testing for both bad RAM or bad bank—

one stick at a time in each bank, If the RAM sticks prove to work individual—and banks work individually.

Other known issues are:

worn clips

or RAM banks slightly distorted/out of flat (use shims)

Thanks for all of the info and the links!

Re: Patriot Memory: I have purchased their products before. They had good reviews on Amazon. Something, of course, isn't right in my situation. The RAM I purchased does match the specs in the re-seating RAM link.

Re-seating RAM: I tried each stick individually in each of the RAM slots. It looks like my bottom slot is the issue. 1 stick of RAM would boot up on the top slot. I guess I can try a couple more times just in case the seating in the bottom slot was somehow off. If the bottom slot is bad, would a single 8 GB stick in the top slot still work? I ask as I have an 8 GB kit and would need to return this to get a single 8 GB stick (likely from Crucial).

Patriot is one of the larger companies that sell memory. Most of what they have is bought as bare die and then packaged with their label and their boards. Or at least by their contract manufacturers. I've bought their MFi Lightning cables, a USB3 SATA drive enclosure, and some PC2-4200 memory modules from them. They're on par with PNY, Kingston, or Corsair.
