i had an i pad and gave it to my cousin,i reset and gave it to him. he is unable to unlock as it has activation lock.i also forgot the id which used 10 yrs ago.
any one know how to unlock the activation lock

Unless you can remember the Apple ID you used to set up that device, your cousin will not be able to use the iPad.
The only hope for you is to find the original purchase receipt with the iPad Serial Number on it and present that to Apple, requesting an unlock. You must be able to validate you are the original buyer of the iPad for Apple to offer assistance. If you don't have the original receipt and you can't remember the Apple ID, the iPad is ready for the recycle bin.
