Apple Classroom AirDrop with Global Proxy

I have the Apple Classroom v3.0 (2E38) which works fine without any proxy settings enable. as the setup is for Educational use, they is a requirement to have web filtering for students/teachers. This part is fully functional and have no issues here.

AirDrop within the Classroom stops functioning properly when the Proxy Setting are applied. I have that if say enable it on the student iPad, but not the teachers. The student within the class is able to Airdrop to Teacher, teacher is unable to AirDrop to the student. It’s the same in reverse. The proxy enabled on both devices, Airdrop doesn’t work.

You still the Classroom in the Airdrop as an option to send, but fails

My guess is the Classroom app isn’t proxy aware, or am I missing something in the setup?

Almost forgot iPad is running the latest OS 12.4.1

Thanks in advance and help to resolve this would great

Thanks Again
