My understanding is that breaking that connector means a new logic board. The non-Retina 13-inch MBP is still "supported" so Apple could do the work, but expect to hear US$500-800 if they do it in-store.
However, inquire of the Apple Store about a "depot" repair if you are in North America. Instead of doing the repair in the store overnight, they ship you computer to Apple's centralized refurbishment facility. The facility fixes anything inside that is broken of failing for a flat rate of about US$350 plus shipping costs; if the computer's case or display is danaged, that adds to the cost.
One posted here said he did the depot repair for a bad logic board and the computer came back not only with a new logic board, but the center had found a developing fault with the optical drive and replaced it. And it had a new battery as well, all for a fixed price.
The downside is that, with shipping time added to time in the depot, this can take 5-7 business days. Worth a shot if, like me, you prefer the durability of the 2012 models over the current ones that have been engineered to win design awards.
