Why does user login has a spinning wheel?
Trying to login to my account but I can’t get past the login screen after I enter username and password. I am the only user as admin.

Does the computer finish the start sequence? Do you get the same thing if you boot into the Safe Mode?
You may need to reinstall the OS. If possible, do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility and select First Aid. Then re-install the OS.
