If you mean the email ID, sign out of that account (which on an old iPod is probably somewhere in Settings, and then click on the user name that's in there. Then sign into the new account. Be aware that any music on the iPod that was purchased in the iTunes Store is tied to that account, so signing out of it will mean that you cannot get access to it. It won't appear in the new account.


If you mean updating from iOS 5.1.1, that's not possible. Your iPod doesn't have the capability to run newer versions of the iOS.
