saving You Tube videos to iPHone X

I have a You Tube Premium subscription and thought I could save You Tube videos to my PC, however YT says I can save to a mobile device but not to a PC or LT. So, how do I save a YT video to my iPhone X?

Thanks for the reply and additional information. If you're able to download and play videos under all other circumstances, what you describe may be normal. Based on that, I recommend getting in touch with the developer: How to contact an app developer

Thanks for your reply...I have the YT Premium membership and I had discovered how to download to my iPhone X and can replay and view on the iPhone X ONLY!

I have an adapter cord that takes me from Apple connector to HDMI and I can show on large screen TV or an LED projector what is on the iPhone X screen, EXCEPT You Tube downloads. I wanted to share a particular YT video with some friends using a large screen TV. Guess YT has that 'no can do'? Somewhere it said that the download is encrypted on your mobile device and can only be played with the iPhone App?!

Yep, YouTube is blocking your ability to do that. I suppose that will come available in YouTube Platinum.
