Older MacBook Making Weird Noise?

I turned on my MacBook this morning and it started to make this weird airy rattling noise,( I can’t explain it very well ) on the *power button side*. It wasn’t making any noises the day/night before.

MacBook Air making a weird squeaking noise when I power it on. Over the past two years, I have heard a weird squeaking noise on my 2017 MacBook Air. For the past 1 and a half years, I thought that it was normal, but when I found out my friends had a MacBook that was made during a similar time period, I checked to see if it made a similar sound, it did not. I'm just wondering what I need to do to get rid of this squeaking noise. Is it a hardware related issue or do I just need to do a simple factory reset?

M2 16-inch-Macbook Pro clacking sound Hi! My 2023 16-inch-M2-Macbook Pro makes a clacking/rattling sound when I shake it sideways, something inside apparently is moving. Does anybody know what this is? And I don't mean the infamous popping sound that earlier Intel Macbook Pros made a little while after starting/warming up. Thanks.

Macbook playing start up sound randomly while closed My macbook randomly made the startup noise while it has been shut for a solid hour.. then it did it two more times about 10 mins apart. It looked like it was updating when i opened it the first time it went off but now it wont even turn on? It also never plays the start up sound when I regularly reboot.

It may be possible that there is debris in the notebook's internal fan or that the fan is failing. What exact model is your MacBook?
