Hi,

Following tip could help your question.


  1. Reboot your Mac while holding down the Command key and R. Keep holding the key combination until the loading bar appears.
  2. Once in the Recovery Mode, select Terminal from the Utilities menu. ... 
  3. Type “resetpassword” in the Terminal window and hit enter.

For Note: Use a Strong Password for your Apple ID

If you want to know a safe way to create a password, consider using:

  • Capital letters
  • lower-case letters
  • special characters (i.e. Amperstand)


Keep a hardcopy of it and store it in a safe location that only you know of. Do not share this password with anyone whomsoever.
