Performa Disposal
What is the best way of disposing a Performa? How do I erase the hard drive before disposing it?

As to erasing the hard drive, boot from a floppy containing Drive Setup and erase the disk. You'll want to open the Functions menu and choose Initialization Options, click the "Low level format"; and "Zero all data". Alternatively, you can just take the hard drive out and smash it with a hammer.
