How do I recover a deleted imessage from icloud?
Hi- I accidentally deleted an iMessage thread from my wife. It deleted a bunch of pics. Is there a way to recover from iCloud? My messages are backed up to iCloud. Thanks!

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. I see you have a question about recovering a deleted Messages thread.
You mentioned backing up to iCloud. To clarify, are you saying that you use Messages in iCloud? You can check under Settings > [name] > iCloud to see if Messages is on (if it's not, don't turn it on at this time).
If Messages in iCloud is on, any messages deleted on one device will be deleted from all synced devices and wouldn't otherwise be part of a backup as covered here: Keep all your messages in iCloud
On the other hand, if you're not using Messages in iCloud but are still backing up your device to iCloud, your message thread might be part of a backup. You can use this link to see if you have a backup from before the messages were deleted: Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. If you find one that you think might contain the thread, here's how to Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup.
