Can’t login to my MacBook Air

So I’m trying to log into my MacBook Air and it’s telling me that my password is incorrect. So I clicked on the “?” And got my password hint and I made sure to put my password hint as my actual password and so then o typed it in again and it’s still saying it’s incorrect. How do I change my password if I can not log into my MacBook Air to do so.

You may be able to re-set the user/admin account login.

You could use your Apple ID to reset the password in one of your products.

If your account is not an Admin user level, you could use an Admin account

to reset a lesser level account. These are somewhat covered in above article.
