After the software update to 5.3.1 the activity rings aren't working - only the stand?

Try a reset by pressing in the crown and side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both.

I’ve had that problem since the update. Doing a reset of my watch and phone works for a while, but I keep having to do it, which shouldn’t be the case.

This was not helpful. To be more specific, my iWatch shows activity. However, when I open up the rings app on my phone, it looks as though the iWatch hasn’t even been on. It is not recording any activity. There needs to be a fix for this.

Rings not only don’t show I the watch, my activities freeze and do not work. Update screwed this up big time. Is there a big fix?

What do you mean by a reset?

I’m the opposite - everything works except my stand ring. It’s very annoying!

Same! My stand rings have not worked for months and it is so frustrating!

My watch has the activity information but it is not synced to the app on the phone and I have tried resetting both.

When I go on the phone to setting the activity app does not show in my list of apps at all even though it is installed on my phone?

I tried uninstalling the app, but when I do that I have to unpair my apple watch and that makes me nervous to do.
