FaceTime Compatible with anything else?

Hey,

I was wondering if FaceTime is compatible with anything other than an iPhone 4, like skype or ichat, so I can video chat with people who are on a computer. I've heard mixed answers but nothing straight forward. Anyone know?

Or maybe not using FaceTime but some 3rd party app to use the front-facing camera to chat with people who may be using ichat, adium, skype, or programs of the like?
