I lost my email address and all my emails on my mac. I still can receive them on my iPhone. A message came up in iCloud saying if you do not save this you will lose it on your desk top. I thought I saved it. Guess not ugh! I am not computer savvy. Please help. I do have a time machine backup. However this did not seem to work. Thank you

You have synced the Mac and iPhone with same Apple ID and password ,( that's the reason you'r are receiving mails from the server , the Apple ID address can be found on iPhone https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT201354
( a ) Did you signed out from Apple ID from the location system preferences > iCloud ( b ) by going to internet accounts and subtracted both you web mail and iCloud account ?
