iPhone 8+ Bluetooth drops repeatedly.

I haven’t had a need to use Bluetooth with my 8+. I use my old 6+ to stream at home and use a wired cassette adapter in the car. I’m trying to use a small Bluetooth speaker or a Bluetooth headphone adapter BAL-M50x. They pair just fine. When I begin streaming content, it plays for 2 seconds to 10 seconds, then repeatedly disconnects and reconnects.

Distance is not an issue, I have reset my Network Settings. Both Bluetooth devices play perfectly fine with my iPhone 6+ and family members iPhones. I can use the 6+ from across the house! I’m guessing the BT antenna on the 8+ is defective.

Hello,

Hmm, I guess that it could be wireless interference:
