typing a website. Need to know what slash (/) to use as two are on keyboard.
Need to know what slash to use as I am typing the web address. Should it come out blue?

Internet website URL on the Mac uses the forward slash "/" without the quote and not the back slash "\"
It depends where you type the URL.
Example here in the forum it turns blue: http://www.apple.com

I got it. It worked. I spent hours trying to cut and paste a website to email without success and decided to type it. When it didn't turn blue I thought I missed something. But I went ahead and posted and it worked. I'll do that again next time before I waste time trying to copy and paste like I used to do. What a nightmare! I'm exhausted. Going to bed.
(I think I looked at the slash on the end key instead of the / under the question mark.)
Thanks!
What keyboard are you using?
What "web address" are you attempting to type?
Is this what you mean: by "it come out blue?"
You are welcome.
